As
per the aforesaid Order of the Hon'ble Commission, the
applicable tariff and other associated conditions applicable
from 1st April 2005 for all classes of consumers of DPSC
Limited are given below: -

Special rebate will be permitted, provided
the payment is made in time, in the tariff as per 1, above

Rebate
of 2% of the amount of the bill excluding taxes, duties
& levies and arrears will be allowed to all consumers
excluding Public Utility Services and Agricultural and
Irrigation provided payment is made in time.

For
HT consumers and for supply to WBSEB and DVC, penalty
@ 20 paise / kWh will be leviable for the shortfall of
consumption from 20% load factor level with reference
to contract demand.

Rebate
of 20 paise / kWh will be given to HT consumers on excess
consumption above 80% load factor level with reference
to contract demand.
|
| 5 |
Temporary
supply:
Rate will be 8% above the applicable rate of supply for
the respective applicable category of supply (classes
of consumers). In the absence of any appropriate rate,
temporary supply will be charged @ Rs. 6 / kWh. Basis
of calculation will be as per existing practice.

| 6 |
For
failure to provide at least 90% availability of supply
in terms of time, the consumers will be compensated @
of 1% of the net amount of their energy bills for that
particular month for each drop of 2% or part below 90%
level.

| 7 |
High
Tension consumers may also opt for TOD metering tariff,
whose rates shall be:
Peak
Period (5 P.M. to 11 P.M.)
|
-energy
charge will be 40% more than normal time (6 A.M.
to 5 P.M.) energy charge. |
Off
Peak Period (11 P.M. to 6 A.M. of the following
day)
|
-energy
charge will be less than normal energy charge
by 34% of normal period energy charge. |
In addition, for TOD consumers, additional demand charges
will be as follows

For consumers exceeding contract demand in any month the
recorded maximum demand will be treated as contract demand
for that month for all purposes. In addition to this,
additional demand charge in case of non - TOD consumers
shall be 20% extra on the quantum of demand by which the
recorded maximum demand exceeds the contracted demand.

Delayed
payment surcharge for all consumers and licensee for delay
in payment beyond due date shall be as follows:
Upto 3 months (0 - 3 months ) - 1.25% per month and/or
prorated for part thereof.
For next 3 months (3 - 6 months ) - 1.50% per month and/or
prorated for part thereof.
For period thereafter (after 6 months) - 2.0% per month
and/or prorated for part thereof.

Other miscellaneous charges for meter testing, disconnection
& reconnection charges, fuse call charges etc. will remain
unchanged.

Fuel
and Power Purchase Cost Adjustment (FPPCA) Charges:
As per formula given in Schedule 4 of the Commission's
Tariff Regulation 2003 and in terms of directives issued
in this regard by the commission.

| 12 |
Statutory levies like electricity duty or any other taxes,
duties imposed by the competent authorities shall be extra.
|
| 13 |
If
any subsidy under the provisions of the Act is intimated
to the DPSC Ltd. and to the Hon'ble Commission by the
Govt. of West Bengal with clear indication of the consumer
or class of consumers to be subsidized and the amount
of the subsidy is actually paid in advance to DPSC Ltd.
along with the direction then the tariff of such consumer
and/or class of consumers shall be deemed to have been
reduced accordingly as has been indicated by the Government.
However, if the amount is not received by DPSC Ltd. as
per stipulations, the tariff fixed by the Hon'ble Commission
shall be applicable.
