| An application for determination
of tariff was submitted by the DPSC Limited for the financial
year 2004-05 on 31.12.2003 to the West Bengal Electricity Regulatory
Commission (WBERC) AT FD -415a, Paura Bhavan 3RD floor, Sec-III,
Bidhannagar, Kol-700106.
It is intimated by the WBERC in its letter no.WBERC
/TP-15/03-04/DPSCL/781 dated January 15, 2004 that the said petition
was submitted by the WBERC being numbered as TP-15/03-04.
It is directed by the WBERC in its letter no. WBERC /TP-15/03-04/DPSCL/781
dated January 15, that the company now publish the tariff application
in such abridged form and manner detailed below for notice to
all interested parties, stakeholders and members of the public
including retail and bulk consumers for sending objection and
comments, if any to reach the office of the commission within
30 days from the date of publication of this notice in the news
papers.

a)
Permission to bill consumers FPPCA on applicable terms and conditions.
a provisional basis on the basis of FPPCA adjustment rate certified
by its auditors, pending approval of such rate by the Hon'ble
Commission on the condition that any amount considered refundable
by the Hon'ble Commission on that account be refundable by adjustment
against the energy bills of the consumers for subsequent months
in suitable installment 9s) as may be directed by the Hon'ble
Commission.
b) Permission to alter Conditions of supply to reduce the time
to given for payment of energy bills after availing of rebate
from 21 days to 15 days from the bill date. |

The
Company is taking measures for further improvement in the quality
of supply in its licensed area. |

Petition
submitted by the licensee may be inspected at the main & above
local office of the licensee within 28 days from the date of publication
on working days between 09:30 hrs and 16:30 hrs. and at the office
of the Commission on working days between 11:00 hrs and 16:00
hrs, within 30 days of publication of this notice. However, copies
of those may be obtained only from the Office of the Commission
within 30 days from the date of publication of this notice during
working days between 11:00 hrs and 16;00 hrs as per regulations.
